When and where
, 2024"When and Where" by Daniel Wille is a contemplative 2021 mixed media painting that explores themes of time, space, and human presence. Measuring 50 x 90 cm, the composition portrays a subtle and abstract narrative with a figure turned away, seemingly lost in thought.
The textured surface, painted with intricate layers of muted blues, whites, and earthy tones, evokes a sense of depth and mystery, leaving the viewer to interpret the story behind the figure’s posture. Wille, an Austrian artist renowned internationally, infuses his signature "Anirealism" style into this piece, where textures and elements extend beyond traditional frames to immerse viewers in a tangible emotional experience. The brushstrokes and layered techniques create a dreamlike atmosphere, blending classical painting methods with intuitive artistry. The interplay between light and shadow enhances the introspective nature of the piece, inviting reflection and dialogue. Perfect for gallery spaces, hallways, or study rooms, "When and Where" makes an evocative statement, offering an emotional depth that transforms any setting. It’s a must-have for art collectors and enthusiasts who seek works that bridge the realms of abstraction and the human condition.

Anirealism- is a new direction I am recently developing.
The point of it is extruding and taking out of frames figures and actions using items and materials that are imitating surfaces,
structures, or themselves. Here I can use fabrics, glass, earth, dishes to breathe life in a picture,
but not as much by a source of painting techniques as by emotions.
